{"abstract":"This study developed, validated, and determined the performance of Grade 9 students using enhancement activities based on 2nd quarter most essential learning competencies in Science, utilizing a collaborative approach at Teresa National High School in the School Year 2020-2021. The study employed developmental, descriptive, and experimental research designs. Forty-five Grade 9 students were exposed to the developed activities, and 15 Science teachers evaluated them. The enhancement activities were rated very satisfactory in content, format, presentation, and organization, with minimal minor errors noted in accuracy and up-to-datedness. Student performance was fair before exposure to the activities but became very satisfactory and outstanding afterward. A significant difference was found in the level of performance before and after exposure, as computed probability values for all competencies were less than the 0.05 level of significance, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. The activities met LRMDS guidelines, received high praise from Science teachers, and showed improved mastery in the six competencies between pretest and posttest.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Mary Rose Pasion"],"date":"2024-10-30","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.14013576","id":3831,"issue":3,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"9fb858f22873c4b342bfbe4684cefc95d28f0260236e15ea8a728cc05df2fec4","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Enhancement Activities in Grade 9 Science Utilizing Collaborative Approach","volume":27}
