It aims to identify the best practices of experienced school paper advisers in the province regarding writer selection, training, and school paper production. Utilizing a qualitative method with phenomenology, the study involved seven participants selected via purposive sampling. Findings indicate that experienced advisers select writers through systematic screening, recommendations, and by identifying top students, though some face difficulties due to students' conflicting responsibilities. Writers undergo rigid training, with some advisers inviting resource speakers. Most advisers reported challenges with insufficient funds and equipment, often using personal resources for student meals, incentives, and honoraria. Stressful paper production, including reviewing outputs and outsourcing layout, was also noted. Despite these obstacles, advisers find their work rewarding. They adapt strategies based on the school environment, community support, and personal qualities to sustain the program.
