{"abstract":"This study aimed to identify the implication of the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) Framework on students’ performance. Using purposive, stratified random, and proportional sampling, the study gathered perceptions from master teachers and students. Master teachers were rated “Excellent” in Technological Knowledge for “Preparing instructional materials for different types of learners,” “Excellent” in Pedagogical Knowledge for “Acting as facilitator and encourages students’ leadership roles in activities,” with “Establishing competencies between the lessons and the students’ actual environment” being “Very Satisfactory.” In Content Knowledge, master teachers were “Excellent” in nine items, including “Updating the knowledge on the subject matter,” and “Very Satisfactory” in “Utilizing content-based approaches for individual learner.” The students’ academic performance, based on average first-quarter grades, was “Very Satisfactory.” Conclusions indicate that both teachers and students rated teachers “Very Satisfactory” in Technological Knowledge application and “Excellent” in Pedagogical and Content Knowledge. Students’ performance is related to the framework teachers use, and teachers’ TPACK background is related to their teaching competencies. While perceptions varied, pedagogical knowledge showed a significant difference. Teachers’ age, sex, strand, and highest educational attainment did not affect framework utilization, but length of service did. Students’ age and grade level did not affect performance, but sex might. The most encountered problem was identifying best-suited technologies, and the best practice was creating an engaging learning environment.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Edgar Ramirez"],"date":"2024-06-16","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.11842091","id":3078,"issue":10,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"7aedf4203f7c7cdcc998c67eeb50be5348e756cc19a7dd4bbb021618efd5a8e6","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Implication on Effects of Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) Framework Application of Master Teachers on Students’ Performance: Basis for Capacity Building","volume":20}
