The subjects were eighty randomly selected Grade 7 students from Don Ramon E. Costales Memorial National High School, divided into an experimental group and a control group. An Experimental Design with a Pretest-Posttest Control group was employed. Results showed a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test scores of the learners in the experimental group (t=-24.086, ρ=.000), indicating the effectiveness of the PhET Simulation method in teaching electricity topics. A significant difference was also found in the post-test scores between the experimental and control groups.
