{"abstract":"This descriptive-developmental paper determined the effectiveness of E-Learning Materials in Mathematics Eight, developed and validated at Don Jose M. Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School during the School Year 2020-2021. The materials covered least mastered competencies in Grade 8 Mathematics, such as illustrating, simplifying, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing similar and dissimilar rational algebraic expressions, based on Grade 8 learners' performance in the School Achievement Test from School Year 2019-2020. The study used a descriptive-developmental and one-shot pretest-posttest experimental research design. Fifty Grade 8 visual learners participated in the study, using an application with video lessons and quizzes on Rational Algebraic Expressions. The e-learning materials were evaluated by thirty randomly selected teacher-respondents from the Division of Rizal, who found them Very Much Acceptable (VMA) in terms of content, objectives, usefulness, user-friendliness, and applicability. The learners’ level of performance in Mathematics improved after exposure to the materials, with a significant difference observed between pre- and post-exposure performance. Thus, the crafted E-Learning Materials in Mathematics Eight were effective in enhancing Grade 8 students’ performance in the selected least mastered competencies.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Carla Mae Hernandez"],"date":"2023-11-14","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.10123591","id":2217,"issue":1,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"8a78bf8ecdcac8229317fca0e021b03e12d2014b759d27924d90472f0b7b85df","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"E – Learning Materials in Mathematics Eight","volume":15}
