{"abstract":"This phenomenological study examined teachers’ understanding and implementation of differentiated instruction among 12 public and private elementary and high school teachers in Compostela, Davao de Oro. Participants were selected through purposive random sampling from San Jose Elementary School, Compostela National High School, and Assumption Academy of Compostela. The study found no significant relationship between parental involvement in modular learning and student academic performance. The level of parental involvement in modular learning, as evaluated by students, was moderate. Student performance in Mathematics was 74.26%, indicating that students did not meet school expectations. The researcher recommends that schools, teachers, and administrators re-evaluate curriculum implementation, particularly regarding parental integration and collaboration in curriculum crafting, and revisit the curriculum to evaluate student performance in other competencies. Further investigation into factors influencing student performance in modular learning and reiteration of the study with a larger sample are also suggested.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Jerson Renegado","Felinita Doronio"],"date":"2023-10-25","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.10039732","id":2155,"issue":8,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"615dc0fda2a9b6d2441fc87164a06df983ab115711e2f7ce77c204ec35564866","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Differentiated Instruction Amidst New Normal: A Phenomenological Study","volume":14}
