{"abstract":"This qualitative case study investigated the parenting styles and influences of ten millennial parents in Negros Occidental on the values development system of their Grade 7 children. Drawing on typologies such as authoritative, authoritarian, indulgent, and uninvolved parenting styles (Darling, 1999, cited by Situmorang, 2021), and considering the character and religious influences of millennial parents (Moriss, 2022), the research gathered primary data through in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis, following Braun & Clarke (2006), was used to identify patterns in the data. Findings indicated that the majority of millennial parents preferred an authoritative parenting style, which positively influenced their children's values development.
