{"abstract":"This convergent mixed-method study investigated the challenges encountered by 17 junior high school Technology Livelihood Education (TLE) teachers in General Luna District, Quezon Province, during modular distance learning in the 2020-2021 school year. The research aimed to identify pros and cons of printed modules and inform enhancements to the school’s learning continuity plan. Data were gathered using questionnaires and checklists. Findings indicate that 41.18% (7 out of 17) of teachers also handled Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao. Teachers strongly agreed that modular distance learning was challenging, with an overall computed mean of 3.50. The topmost challenge was checking and evaluating student outputs, reflected by a computed mean average of 3.71, interpreted as strongly agree. The study found no significant relationship between teachers' demographic profiles and the level of challenges encountered (F-value = 0.383, p-value = 0.688 > 0.05).
