{"abstract":"This study investigated the utilization of instructional practices and strategies by secondary school teachers in the Fifth District of Pangasinan, Pangasinan Schools Division II for SY 2022 – 2023, to improve English language skills in reading, listening, viewing comprehension, vocabulary development, literature, and writing and composition. The study profiled respondents by age, sex, highest educational attainment, teaching position, years teaching English, and related trainings attended. Statistical measures included frequency counts, percentages, average weighted means, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and Pearson Product Moment of Coefficient Correlation. Most respondents (37.7%) were aged 20-29, 67.9% were female, 56.6% had MA units, and 58.8% held a Teacher III position. The overall weighted mean for instructional practices utilization was 4.17, described as “Utilized.” The study recommends that teachers pursue higher educational degrees and professional upgrading through trainings and workshops.
