{"abstract":"This study identified the teaching practices, strategies, challenges, and coping mechanisms of 189 Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao (EsP) teachers in the School Division of Marinduque, out of 217 potential respondents. Data were collected using an adapted and modified questionnaire checklist validated by experts. Teachers primarily employed strategies such as identifying learning objectives, planning engaging lesson sequences, applying knowledge from teaching guide orientations, and ensuring additional activities deepen understanding. In classroom instruction, they maximized time, used Filipino as the medium, and demonstrated sufficient knowledge of teaching strategies. They also utilized teacher's manuals, made instructional materials during vacant time, and provided additional resources. Parental involvement strategies included regular teacher-parent conferences, communicating student attitudes, following up on values taught at home, and motivating parental support. Challenges included difficulty executing lessons, students' lack of skills in analysis and value application, insufficient time for moral stories, and lack of parental cooperation. Coping practices involved additional lesson plan activities, using Filipino, utilizing teacher's manuals, and conducting regular teacher-parent conferences. No statistically significant differences were found in strategies based on sex, civil status, educational attainment, or training, but a significant difference was observed based on age.
