{"abstract":"This survey-correlational study investigated the challenges encountered, stress management skills, and PE performance of 300 randomly selected Grade 7 to 10 junior high school students from Jalandoni Memorial National High School during the 2021–2022 school year. Data were collected using a four-part questionnaire, including a researcher-made instrument for challenges and stress management skills, and a standardized questionnaire for PE performance (Quarter 3-MELC Based Module of the Department of Education Region 6-Western Visayas 3rd Quarter Physical Education Practical Examination, 2021). Statistical analysis involved mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson r, with a significance level of 0.05. Findings revealed that the top 10 challenges encountered were at a moderate level, the top 10 stress management skills were high, and PE performance was good. No significant difference was found in PE performance among the levels of challenges encountered or stress management skills. Furthermore, there was no significant relationship among challenges encountered, stress management skills, and PE performance.
