{"abstract":"This quantitative-descriptive study examined the socio-economic status of 362 purposively chosen parents in Alabat Island, Division of Quezon, from January to March of the 2022-2023 school year, and their roles in the implementation of full in-person classes. Data were collected using questionnaires and a Likert Scale. Findings revealed that 54% (196) of respondents had an elementary education level, 66% (239) were self-employed, and 69% (251) had a monthly family income of ₱11,957 or below, indicating low-income to poor families. Additionally, 65% (236) resided in urban areas. The study concluded that parents acted as school partners by ensuring daily attendance and displaying positive attitudes towards school personnel. They also served as home-educators, modeling appropriate behavior for their children. Educational status, occupation, and income showed a high significant correlation with parents' roles as partners, clients, and home-educators, while place of residence had a low but significant correlation.
