{"abstract":"This descriptive research determined the observed practices and academic performance of 405 primary learners in blended learning in Torrijos District, Division of Marinduque, for the school year 2020-2021. The study assessed pedagogical teaching practices and learners' quarterly performance grades. Results indicated blended learning is an effective teaching method for primary learners. Teachers' practices were generally effective in promoting motivation and instructional support, though technology use may need attention. Parental perceptions influenced teacher motivation and implementation, with significant variations in instructional practices and support among Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 teachers. Parent agreeableness significantly impacted teacher motivation across all three grade levels. However, no significant relationship was found between parental agreeableness, teacher pedagogical practices, and primary learner performance, except for music and MAPEH. Learner performance varied significantly in English, MTB, Music, Arts, PE, Health, MAPEH, and ESP across all grade levels. An intervention program was developed to promote effective teaching practices and learner performance in blended learning.","abstract_source":"gemini_shortened","authors":["Maria Judhee Rivamonte"],"date":"2023-06-27","doi":"10.5281/zenodo.8086514","id":1523,"issue":1,"journal":{"issn":"2822-4353","name":"Psychology and Education: A Multidisciplinary Journal"},"pdf_sha256":"00c9e2ab438366d5e79f0ac30e1adafcedcff91bd3e2ca7d67da7dfe98217d1e","schema":"scimatic-article/1","title":"Observed Teaching Practices and Academic Performance of Primary Learners in Blended Learning in the District of Torrijos Division of Marinduque","volume":10}
