{"abstract":"This study assessed the instructional supervisory practices of 72 School Heads and their effectiveness as perceived by 144 teacher respondents in the Third Congressional District of Quezon during the full implementation of face-to-face classes. The study described practices in terms of nature, types, phases, methods of supervision, and funds allocation, and examined their effectiveness in realizing instructional goals. It also investigated significant differences in practices and effectiveness when grouped by principal, teacher-in-charge, and head teacher, and identified problems encountered by school heads and their solutions. Data were collected using survey questionnaires and interview guides. Mean and weighted mean formulas determined the frequency of use, effectiveness, and problems, while Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) ascertained significant differences. The hypothesis was rejected, revealing a significant difference in instructional supervisory practices and their effectiveness when grouped by position. Recommendations included continuous improvement of instruction, recognition of teacher strengths, enhancement of professional functions, employment of various supervisory techniques, and transparent fund allocation.
