{"abstract":"This study assessed the employability of 113 differently abled persons from seven municipalities of Eastern Rizal, selected using purposive sampling. Respondents were described by sex, age, civil status, religion, educational attainment, and disability. Employing a descriptive survey research design with a researcher-made questionnaire, the study found a near equal distribution of male and female respondents, with males slightly dominant. Most respondents were young adults, married, and Roman Catholic. High school graduates and college graduates were almost equally represented. The study revealed that most respondents were underemployed, held regular appointments, and occupied staff positions. No significant relationship was found between employment satisfaction and sex, civil status, or religion. However, a significant difference in employment satisfaction was observed when considering age, educational attainment, and disability. The overall satisfaction level regarding working conditions, benefits, and disability was interpreted as moderately satisfied. Recommendations include strengthening employment opportunities through government schemes like tax incentives for companies hiring disabled persons, providing financial aid for education, and implementing a proposed plan of action to enhance employability.
