Los autores estudian la relación entre las transformaciones de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en relación con la recepción y producción de textos desde la educación lectora y literaria contemporánea. Con este objetivo revisan diferentes conceptos clave en este nuevo escenario comunicativo, como lectura, lector o prácticas y hábitos de lectura en relación y apuntan su influencia para los objetivos de la formación lectora y literaria. Asimismo, reflexionan en torno a los retos que estas modificaciones implican para la disciplina y sus objetivos básicos y abogan por la necesaria vinculación entre las competencias mediática, digital, lectora, literaria y comunicativa para poder formar lectores y ciudadanos. The authors study the relationship between the transformation of information technology and communication, related with the reception and production of texts by contemporary reading and literary education. With this goal, they review several key concepts in this new communication scenario, such as, reading, reader, or reading practices and habits, and they highlight their influence on the aims of reading and literary education. Moreover, they reflect on the challenges that these changes entail for the discipline and its basic aims, and advocate for the necessary link between media, digital, reading, literary and communicative competences to train readers and citizens.
