Building an alternative knowledge society in the digital culture and in the information society, apart from representing a social, cultural and moral challenge for general as well as virtual education, entails reaching a consensus and deciding on the purpose and the reason for the formative processes of an "unknown society”, which should be built for being one of the richest social organizations in historical terms, but which arises questioning and seems to lack an “ethical compass”. Because of this, the proposals should be comprehensive and relational. They depend on the generation and development of more and more virtual scenes, where the university formative and electronic forces have to be the protagonists of a "creative synthesis". A flexible (re)design of their structures will rescue strengths and overcome weaknesses towards an unknown future. What is in the dark will be solved by a new theoretical and methodological framework used in socio-political decision-making as well as a reflective and proactive management, which will be essential to change into a new and alternative knowledge society.
