The mean plane through the major component of the allyl group is nearly perpendicular to the indazole ring, as indicated by the N—C—C=C torsion angle of −114 (1)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...π interactions, forming undulating sheets parallel to the ab plane.
